Chapel Place Sports Camp

Runs for four weeks in the month of July where we teach skills and encourage healthy competition and team building in multiple activities and sports.

Leaders In Training (L.I.T) program provides a great opportunity for future leaders to discover their potential and grow in a fun and Christ-glorifying environment.

All Year Programs

We are is a ministry of Chapel Place Presbyterian Church where we offer weekly programs throughout the year for children such as A.W.A.N.A, Youth Groups and more.

Details About Our Camp

2020 Camp Hours

Monday – Friday 10:00 am- 1:15 pm

This Year, Chapel Place Sports Camp (CPSC) will run ONLINE for 2 weeks in the month of July, where we will teach skills and encourage healthy competition and team building. Our days will continue to revolve around daily Bible studies based on a theme, using skits, Bible verses, and small groups. We also have other activities like arts & crafts, science experiments, and P\physical activities. Our Staff will drop off the materials/kits needed for these activities to your home while maintaining social distancing protocols.

Activities

This Year, we will offer a variety of activities including Physical Activities, science experiments, as well as arts & crafts. Our Staff will drop off the materials/kits needed for these activities to your home while maintaining social distancing protocols.

Bible Studies

We teach from the Bible because we believe it is God’s inspired Word. These studies provide campers an opportunity to be mentally stimulated and to provide opportunities for campers to ask the important questions of life and receive good answers.

Team Games

We will continue to offer Virtual Team Games by encouraging team building and healthy competition during and outside of camp hours.

What Is Needed

• A Bible
• Prepared kit/materials that you will be provided
• Any device compatible with Zoom : laptops/computers and tablets are preferred, however, smartphones are accepted
• A reliable source of Wi-fi

Leaders In Training (L.I.T) Program

About LIT Program

The Leaders In Training (L.I.T) program provides a great opportunity for future leaders to discover their potential and grow in a fun and Christ-glorifying environment. Over the summer the L.I.Ts are given opportunities to direct a variety of activities, Bible studies, interact with campers and be part of a fun and energetic staff.

L.I.T Program Requirements
  • Must be at least 15 years of age as of December 31st, 2019, and must have completed grade nine by June 2021.
  • Pay $200 registration fee (subsidy available upon request)
  • Able to commit to full camp schedule (L.I.Ts will receive high school volunteer hours equivalent to the total number of hours worked)

  • Jr. High Youth – Grades 6-8
  • Youth – Grades 9-12
  • Young Adults – University/College/Early Careers
  • Sunday Morning Service with Sunday School
  • Annual Fall Community Carnival
